Divine Message 05/08/2018 – A place of calm, a place to regroup – PEACE

Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning,

Happy Sunday, a blessed and beautiful day to you as it unfolds in its joy.

Today’s message speaks of regrouping yourself, grounding yourself in the beautiful element of Water, there is nothing more healing than the sound of water, the feel or water and the sThight of water, it is powerful in its rejuvenating properties, in its healing properties.

If you cannot get near water today, try a visualisation exercise of imagining yourself near your favourite beach, hear the sounds, smell the smell, touch the water, and sit and bask in it, with a Sun or moon that glistens in its wake, hold that vision for some time as you breath in deeply and breathe out deeply, imagine all of your stresses melting away, falling away and no longer attaching themselves to your energy, it is gone.

The greatest Gift is being able to stay calm in among chaos, tension and stress, there is beauty in this, there is grounding in this, and it means that you are in your driving seat.

Have a blissful day visualising, being and knowing that whatever troubles you may be experiencing, they are temporary, for they too change like the seasons.

Compassion goes a long way, to others, to self!

Hi there,

My thoughts turn to Compassion today, compassion goes a very long way in a World that can feel unfeeling at times, you just never truly know how much you holding out your hand in compassion will impact another.  For you see many suffer in silence, sometimes the silence is out of not wanting to be a burden to others, not wanting to show vulnerability, not wanting to admit to others that one simply isn’t coping with what one may be going through.  Over the years since I have been on Facebook, since 2009, I have seen only too well the posts that do get a response, and the posts that usually get a response are the negative posts and real life posts, you see human nature can respond to these type of posts, so I wanted to draw reference to the word Compassion today, I have been thinking about it for a couple of days now.

So what is Compassion? what exactly is it, a definition I have pulled up from Wikipedia is this;

Compassion motivates people to go out of their way to help the physical, mental or emotional pains of another and themselves. Compassion is often regarded as having sensitivity, an emotional aspect to suffering, though when based on cerebral notions such as fairness, justice, and interdependence, it may be considered rational in nature and its application understood as an activity also based on sound judgment. There is also an aspect of equal dimension, such that individual’s compassion is often given a property of “depth”, “vigour”, or “passion”. The etymology of “compassion” is Latin, meaning “co-suffering.” Compassion involves “feeling for another” and is a precursor to empathy, the “feeling as another” capacity for better person centred acts of active compassion; in common parlance active compassion is the desire to alleviate another’s suffering.  So here it is in a nutshell.

How much compassion do you display to your friends, family, those in need? is there tolerance for their plight and for their suffering? or do you get fed up if there is repetition of the same story?

Well you see the real essence is that progress and growth in terms of human suffering is I believe at the root of attachment, which in essence is human nature, we all get attached to something, someone and this is the very nature of human nature, can you imagine if we didn’t? how unfeeling would we really be, terribly cold I imagine.  But there is one thing that comes to mind in the theme of human suffering is that suffering is a journey, just as grief, loss and detaching yourself from something, it is a journey, it takes time to untangle, to process, to understand, to digest, to get to a place where all of the varying emotions become bearable and no longer feel overwhelming, so imagine how it feels to go through a process of suffering, whether this be from life’s experiences, personal loss, addictions, trauma, it takes time, the journey to healing does not happen overnight, oh no.

So if you see someone within your peripheral circle who needs some support, reach out your hand in compassion to see if you can offer support, you may not be able to take their pain away, their suffering away, but just reaching out and being there, may mean so much, and it just may make a difference to their lives.  We all need to feel loved, appreciated, cared for and that we matter, even though the real essence is not seeking validation outside of ourselves, or from others, but it does make a difference to our feeling of interdependence to know and to feel that someone does care.

You just never know how much of an impact that may have on another’s emotional, spiritual well-being.

And also remember too, lastly, if compassion does not include yourself, it isn’t compassion. compassion600.jpg

Calm is not to be perceived as a weakness!

How many times do you see a quiet individual and think they are meek and mild, how many times? judgment you see is human nature, we do it all the time, even for those who state that they don’t, even for those who are conscious of their thoughts and are mindful in their actions of them.

You see there is so much judgement around quietness, being still, to be perceived as quiet it means, what is that person thinking, they are quiet, they appear very timid, mild and meek, but do you know calm and quiet can be a quiet hidden strength that resides from a very deep place.

I asked the Universe today for today’s card and the card that was drawn was “Calm Is Not A Weakness”.  the key principles of its message today are as follows:-

  • A balanced and harmonious existence attracts exactly that
  • No drama
  • Human society aspires to movers and shakers type A personalities, but what is the cost to their human emotional state, physical state and emotional well-being, at what cost.
  • Slow and steady does win the race, it is not how long it takes to get there, but that you get there.
  • Constant pressure to achieve can result in burn-out, distinguishing ones soul
  • Take care of your human vessel
  • Scattered energies achieve little
  • Focus, slowly and diligently
  • Money not being a total objective over inner calm, peace and inner happiness
  • You have all you need
  • You are resourceful
  • Meditation and sitting in silence, quietens the mind, body and spirit and nourishes the soul.

So I ask you what are you doing to quieten your mind, body and spirit? where do you give your soul the nourishment of calm, inner peace.  Tomorrow is a Full Moon a perfect time to allow the ebb of the Full Moon to flow over you as you prepare for the next chapter of your journey.

Remember a calm inner self equates to a peaceful soul.

Regeneration and Re-charging your Energy.

Today I wanted to make mention of the words Regeneration and Re-Charging, what do these words mean to you?

Is it something that you do automatically? or do you wait until your body is shouting at you? “give me a break”

Our schedules can be hectic, hectic, hectic, busy, busy, busy, constantly on the go, not stopping at times.  Constant interaction with technology, people, phones, television, radio, supporting others, rushing here, rushing there.

How much time do you actually give yourself to take time out for you?   Do you notice the signs when your body feels the need for Regeneration and Re-charging? or do you just continuously push it until you get to the point where you get tetchy, irritable and grouchy?  We all do this from time to time.

We could save ourselves a whole lot of energy by investing and tuning into our body, mind and spirit when it feels tired, exhausted, pushed too far and just simply needs the space to give it a rest.    Perhaps we feel guilty if we allow ourselves to be still and rest?  Hmmmm

I know over the years, many years ago I used to feel bad if I sat still and allowed myself to do nothing, somehow, someway I would feel a desire to fill that space with something, because I felt guilty for not doing something.

This I feel is something that many can identify with?  sound familiar?

But imagine though, you would not expect a car to run on empty would you? same as our bodies, it actually gives us signs and alerts us when it needs to be rested, regenerated and re-charged.

Quite often I feel the guilt can set in when we feel we are being judged by others, therefore leaving a feeling of needing approval from others.  In essence we are responsible for how we treat our body not others.  We are living in it, we are vibrating in it and it is only ourselves that can understand and know how it feels.

In the process of learning to listen and tune in to your body’s needs, as we mature and grow, and need less approval from others, it is important to give yourself the capacity for regeneration and re-charging.  Imagine if you feel you have had a good night’s rest how beautiful and bright you feel the next day.

I now listen and allow myself the space to “Just be” just allow myself some time to be in a quiet space, whether it be

  • Meditating
  • Taking a hot soak
  • Reading
  • Listening to music
  • Doing some colour therapy
  • Doing something which involves creativity
  • or simply sitting in silence.  (how many actually do that), it can feel really beautiful to sit in silence and just allow yourself a moment to reflect, take stock, take time out and just allow your thoughts to settle into nothingness, try it.

So perhaps next time when you start to feel emotions rising such as irritation, grouchiness, being snappy, ask yourself do I need to give myself a little bit of “Time out”, do I need to Regenerate and Re-charge.  Try it, I promise you once you start doing it on a regular basis, you won’t regret it.
