The Art of saying “NO”8/8/8 Lionsgate

It is my first day of not having work for the past 2 years, preparing and getting ready for a brand new Chapter to unfold.  I did a post this morning on my Facebook about the art of saying NO, I have come to realise that when you start the journey of walking in your authentic truth, that is to say owning it, without justification, or the need of approval from others, things become different and things change, human nature right!!

Here is my understanding on a deeper level.   When you start to exercise your assertion, your judgement, the understanding of your capabilities, what you are able to do, what you desire to do, and what you want to do, things become clearer.  If you are sensitive then there may be a tendency to take it personally.

When you start saying NO to what you truly do not want to do, you make room for growth in what you truly want to do.  But here is the thing, one begins to realise that those that may be used to you saying YES regularly naturally start to fall away.

You see many people resist change, whether they agree or not, so when you start the journey of changing and asserting that change, it creates a “ripple” in the dynamics of your relationships, your family life, your work life, your intimate relationships, because all are so used to you saying YES.

So when you start saying NO you may find that people in your life will naturally start to fall away, spiritually, universally, it is the law of things, naturally to remove what, who needs to be removed to make room for your renewed growth and your changing soul.  The automatic response may be to feel a sense of resistance from you and others, trust it though for nothing ever grows by staying in ones comfort zone.
